Jaipur (Pink City) & Taj Mahal

AC, hot shower, cable TV, and a roof top bar..yeah we were excited!

Too much milkshake!

Beautiful 360 view of the city

:] posing with an elephant on the side of the road

Elephant ride up the the Pink Fort

View on the way up

love it

Our dysfunction album cover

Trying to act interested in the overload of information we heard that day

its all about geometry in this photo

View of the city

Floating garden

Where the King chose his woman of the night

AC and an iced coffee on a HOT day, girl couldn't ask for more!
Typical...waiting for us while we are sha sha sha shopping!

Largest clock in the world! Sounds lame, actually kinda cool

Just to prove the clock was right!
Absolute hottest moment of our lives. You have NO idea, but yes we managed a smile, but only for the photo!

She couldn't bring herself to buy $1.25 sunglasses at the Mosque, we had no mercy!

As authentic as an Indian meal can get, so much fun

despite her face, the meal was actually delish! Hence my face watching her eat the last bite

Tres Amigos!

Yes, there are seriously people swimming in that nasty neon green infected waters! Eww

It was a cool concept of getting clothes to the poor and needy, but no offerings to the dead for us

Monkey on a stick...only in India

One of the four gates to the Taj

Seriously, stunning in person

Wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else!

It's GINORMOUS!! Really though

Shereeka!

Taj booties

Looking out from inside the Taj, most people don't know there are two Mosques on each side

A photo is worth a thousand words, describes the entire trip

Curiosity killed the cat, whoops!

Getting her practice in anywhere she could!

We allowed to act American every now and again, right?
Snake charmer, I can't believe we touched a Cobra

Riding an elephant, dream come true

My elephant man, nice guy

View on the way up

Gotta get those cheesy tourist pictures in

Couldn't have done it without these two

Sweating off our Bindi

Partners in crime :]

We could not manage a decent picture

Old Indian 'bar' in the bedroom of some very important rich man, but how cool is that, that bottles would fit right in there

Adrian getting her interpretative dance on

Floating Palace

Taurus!

It was such a hot long day and we still had more to see, so our diver stopped on the side of the road, tour guide told me to jump out, snapped a photo and we were on our way! No idea what it is though

Pigeons EVERYWHERE

We had some pretty awesome tour guides

Clay cup for Chai, its not fired so once your done you throw it on the ground and it just gets mixed back into the ground

Such a fun dinner expierence

Sheree and I shopped till we dropped and this was just the beginning
Walking down from the mosque

On our way to see the Taj with our free water bottle and shuttle ride, its the small things that count

haha we all look like idiots!

the man inside the heart is Adrians future husband, she just don't know it yet

Our tour guide made us do it, honest

Love this photo, walking up the the Taj, looking back on one of the gates

Arabian nights!

Adrian getting artsy with the Taj

Paparazzi everywhere :]

First try.....BAM!

The door ways really did get smaller, it wasn't an illusion, but I dont remember why...

trying to 'act casual'

now that's more like it!

ancient private Mosque

nice watch adrian

our Bollywood star Miss Sheree Krause!

Sitting on the ancient version of AC, these people were genies

Baby Taj (we sat an looked at it for about an hour because it was too hot to even walk down that little walkway to go in, we didnt want to leave the shade! no joke!)

Soooo standard! sheree hot and tired, adrian overly concerned with bugs and kelsey snapping photos trying to pep the two up

I was kinda scared they were going to attack me, I was on top of a 10 foot wall

Come back from the monkey business to find a poetry reading in front of baby Taj ( we still had yet to go in at this point!) Americans are very few and far in between in India, even tourist areas. We stood out so much that during Adrians reading a random man came up to us and knew who we were because his cousin was our tour guide the previous day...strange...

And there it is my friends, the Baby Taj...yes we finally made it in. We were delirious from the heat so we kinda went crazy inside!
