Captivated.

My heart has been captivated by 120 children, pairs of grimy little hands all over my face, and beautiful white smiles like you have never seen before. In these past three months my heart has truly been stolen by these children, in a way I never before expected. As crazy as it sounds, I have grown to know and love each and every single one of them individually. In 67 days I have seen these children grow in character an personality. I grown to know their individual personalities, humor, aspirations and what makes them a unique individual in not only this orphanage but this world. They have each captivated my heart and inspired me in various ways.

These children have taught me about graciousness, hard work, and faith, so much faith. I genuinely wish I could share the many stories with you, that would imprint your heart forever. I have met many children of various ages, cultures and religions through out the world, all of whom have touched me. But these were different, these children have changed me and my heart.

So I ask you if you could just take a moment of your day to just pray for these children just once. There is immeasurable power in prayer, and these children deserve it. Some are street children, some have been left here by their parents, some came with siblings while others came alone, yet these children have more hope and joy on their faces than I could even the you.

If you would like to further help an individual child I can assure you it would be greatly appreciated. This orphanage is run entirely on monthly and one time donations from sponsors through out the world. If you would like to become a sponsor of a child for $20 a month, please let us know. We know each child individually and could pick a very special one out for you. These monthly donations go to pay for food, hygiene items as well as school fees. If you decide to become a sponsor I can assure you your money is going to the children, and they are being taken care of. These children know their sponsors (they call them mom or dad) on an individual basis. They pray for their sponsors every night and every morning. As cliche as it may sound, because it is a smaller orphanage, when you become a sponsor your not just donating to feed and clothe a random child. You are truly investing into the child's future, and will become a life log relationship. We can provide photos, letters, drawings, school updates etc. And if one day in your life you would like to come meet your child personally it is greatly welcomed and I can assure you, you would not regret it.

Thank you for all yours prayers and considerations, we appreciate it! If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact Adrian, Sheree or myself.
